Sign contracts outlining the project scope, timeline, and budget. ***Make sure to include an extra $10k-$100k to your budget to include additional upgrades at your selection appointment. 5. Selection Appointments: Attend appointments to finalize interior and exterior selections. Choose colors, materials, and other design elements. 6. Construction Kickoff: Meet with your superintendent for a pre-framing meeting. Receive updates on the construction progress. 7. Scheduled Walkthroughs: Attend scheduled walkthroughs to observe key construction milestones. Address any questions or concerns with your superintendent & realtor. 8.
